The area around Britain’s houses of Parliament in London became the scene of a long-feared assault Wednesday, an attack that left at least five dead and 20 injured. A car ran over several people, killing three before crashing outside Parliament, where an attacker stabbed a police officer to death before he himself was shot to death by police.
